A Visit from The High Sheriff

On Monday, the children were treated to an engaging assembly which was led by the High Sherriff of East Sussex, Richard Bikersteth. The High Sherriff explained about his important role in the local community and how he was personally invited to take up this historic role by King Charles III. The High Sherriff wore his formal uniform and explained about each element of this, including the sword which he kept very close throughout his visit. At Ark Little Ridge Primary Academy, we are working with the children to learn about key roles and responsibilities within our community and introduce them to the different careers which are on offer in the future.
